My Book Club
The Budding Tree
I love books that are Good, Inspiring and that I can finish on a flight or in one sitting. This book was everything I imagined. This story is inspiring to the all readers. No matter your gender, occupation or economic status. It’s uplifting to all, especially woman, however, being close to someone who experienced some of the same situations as the author, I felt very associated with this book. Thank you Aswani for an outstanding work of art “The Budding Tree”.
My Work Board

As a Programme Officer in charge of civic education and mobilization, Ida played an instrumental role in developing information, education, and communication (IEC) materials, organizing outreach activities, and coordinating civic education efforts with civil society organizations. She also worked closely with the CoE’s regional and constituency field officers to ensure effective public understanding and participation in the review process.
In addition to this, and with guidance from the management team, she developed several funding concepts for activities that were critical to achieving CoE’s result areas. More recently, we have also collaborated on two consultancy assignments where Ida was primarily responsible for client liaison and securing bids. These included developing a child-friendly booklet on child sexual abuse and training police officers on child-friendly approaches in partnership with Plan International Kenya.
